This album was recorded and mixed within a 2 week period. We know we could have spent a lot of time getting it right and making sure all the boxes were ticked on performance and sound, but to tell you the truth that would have just sounded like the usual sell-out bollocks that's around. We wanted to keep the essence of Punk and let it out sounding rough and ready. It was recorded on the fly and we had a lot of drunken fun doing it.
Some people will bore us with their comments on recording quality and the overall mix, but we say "fuck em". That's not what this is about. We wanted it raw. We wanted the timing to be out. It's how it was done and we're not using lots of wanky effects to clean it up. It's totally honest. What you see is what you get. No fakes.
If people don't like it they can always go and listen to Santana.
