Velvette Vendetta's EP "Beautiful Vision Distorted" was released on May 1st 2009. Beautiful Vision Distorted is the concept of revealing the dark side of gracefulness. Within two years, Velvette Vendetta's has successfully injected this concept in their works: from lyrics, song writing style, artworks to the band's attitude. Velvette Vendetta inherits the arrangement of classical music which consists of multiple movements with dramatic changes. With this structure the band delivers a mixture of various elements with unforeseen twist throughout a song. Velvette Vendetta's song themes are mysterious yet it eventually leads audiences to discover the exclusive meaning behind them. Topics often relate to romance, death, religion conflicts, politics and social issues.

Bursting into the Hong Kong indie music scene in 2005, The Yours have quickly established themselves with a reputation for their stunning live performances, which threatens to overshadow the superb production of their debut album, Abraham.
Variously described as a mixture of post-punk and shoegazing, their music is punctuated by walls of fuzzed out guitar riffs and a steady, almost drum-machine like rhythm section, all reminiscent and worthy of their self-confessed influences, My Bloody Valentine and The Telescopes.
Lead vocalist, Jack's deadpan voice provides a perfect compliment to such tracks as 'Tasteless', with its eerie evocation of the mind numbing vicissitudes of modern life/love.  Similarly, it is such unimposing but totally catchy vocal/instrumental layerings in the epic 'Missed Call', or 'Abraham' that have secured The Yours' place in 2006 Rockit music festival in HK.

'Smell like teens spirit' - the most appropriate description of False Alarm and their music from the local archetypal imaginer, Sin:Ned, one of the authors and music reviewers in the leading music magazine Music Colony Biweekly (MCB) in Hong Kong. False Alarm started at October, 1999. With people left and joined in, the band evolves as a 5-man band currently. Extremely wild and noisy guitar sounds, with high output and crazy feedback but sweet melodies are the distinctive characteristics of their songs. They have contributed to numbers of local band shows and two compilation albums. The released songs are highly appreciated and recommended by the local music reviewers. In the summer of 2002, False Alarm launched a business on recording the debut album in their band-room. The 11 youthful songs full of LOVE and FIRE disclose the diversified elements of False Alarm-style music. The debut album has been released at May 2003. Excellent and wonderful review articles on the debut album have been given by MCB (vol: 216; 9 marks out of 10) and Next Magazine (vol: ; 4 stars out of 5).
